Extension of temporary stay

According to paragraph 5 of article 97 of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014, the period of temporary stay (residence) of the working member state and family members in the territory of the state of employment is determined by the duration of the labor or civil law contract concluded by the worker of the member state with the employer or customer of work (services).

In the event of early termination of an employment or civil law contract after 90 days from the date of entry into the territory of the state of employment, the worker of the member state has the right, without leaving the territory of the state of employment, to conclude a new labor or civil contract within 15 days (to paragraph 5 of article 97 of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014).
